Kaseya Quote Manager Release Notes
The Kaseya Quote Manager (KQM) team is excited to announce the following improvements and/or fixes:
Enhancements
Clearer and more intuitive Cooper Copilot admin settings
We’ve refined the behavior and appearance of the Cooper Copilot and product description toggles in Admin Settings:
-
Turning Cooper Copilot on automatically enables line item descriptions.
-
Turning product descriptions off will also switch off Cooper Copilot to avoid mismatched settings.
-
If Cooper Copilot is turned off while product descriptions are enabled on the product block, the descriptions setting remains selected but is clearly disabled.
-
Text formatting, color, and spacing in the Cooper Copilot section now follow the intended design, including greyed‑out labels when a toggle is disabled.
Why this matters:
Admin configuration is now more predictable and visually clear, reducing confusion about which AI and description options are active.
Improved language localization for quotes and storefront login
We’ve made several localization improvements:
-
The Quote Storefront login page now automatically uses the same language as the quote sent to the customer.
-
The Login to view quote button now uses a corrected Spanish translation.
-
The Terms of Service text and Close button in the terms dialog are now translated into the selected display language.
-
For Danish quotes, the label for Tax is now translated as “Moms” instead of the previous incorrect translation.
Why this matters:
Customers and users see consistent, accurate translations across quotes, login, and terms, improving clarity and professionalism in non‑English languages.
Refined tax banner messaging and behavior for Amazon products
We’ve made multiple improvements to how tax warnings appear on quotes and sales orders, especially when Amazon products and address validation are involved:
-
Updated wording when TaxJar validation fails so the reason and next steps are clearer, with specific messaging depending on whether the quote includes Amazon items, standard items, or both.
-
Removed unnecessary error banners for quotes that contain only Amazon products when TaxJar validation fails, where Amazon handles tax calculations.
-
Fixed cases where tax banners could appear twice or show incorrect text.
-
Ensured that tax banners don’t show when tax is 0 for quotes containing only Amazon products, and that the correct payment options (e.g., credit card) remain available.
-
Corrected scenarios where quotes or sales orders with only Amazon products and an invalid organization address displayed an unnecessary TaxJar error.
-
Ensured the sales order tax banner for Amazon‑only orders is accurate and aligned with the intended design.
-
The audit trail on quote and sales order PDFs now correctly includes notes related to invalid addresses when quotes contain only Amazon products.
Why this matters:
Your team and customers now see more accurate, less noisy tax warnings, especially when dealing with Amazon Business items, reducing confusion and follow‑up questions about taxes and payment eligibility.
Updated Xero authentication scopes
We’ve updated the authentication URL used to connect to Xero organizations, aligning with Xero’s latest security and scope requirements:
-
Removed unused or unnecessary API scopes while preserving all required functionality.
-
No changes are needed; current Xero integrations will continue to work as expected.
Why this matters:
Your Xero integration remains compliant with Xero’s upcoming changes while maintaining the same capabilities and improving security posture.
Project Labor checkbox behavior clarified
We have addressed inconsistencies with the Project Labor checkbox behavior in Quotes:
-
The checkbox in the Project Labor column now behaves consistently with similar controls and matches the intended design.
Why this matters:
You can reliably mark and interpret Project Labor items in quotes without unexpected or inconsistent checkbox behavior.
Fixes
This release addresses minor bug fixes and improvements to the UI experience. These fixes and improvements include, but are not limited to:
-
Fixed an issue where the message “Quote changed, cannot update. Page reloaded” could appear when saving a quote after adding recipients, editing product titles, or sending a quote for the first time after saving it.
