Kaseya Quote Manager Release Notes

The Kaseya Quote Manager (KQM) team is excited to announce the following improvements and/or fixes:

Enhancements

Azure Front Door migration

This release includes UI and backend improvements to support migration off Azure Front Door Classic, which is currently used for some Kaseya Quote Manager (KQM) custom domains, to the new experience.

IMPORTANT  Only a subset of Kaseya Quote Manager tenants are affected by this change. Refer to Who is affected?

Guided migration UI and status indicators

We have introduced new UI components that guide you through domain migration and verification:

  • Migration banners and status badges make it clear which domains are ready for migration, in progress, awaiting validation, or complete.

  • A dedicated migration modal provides warnings, links to help documentation, and a clear call-to-action to start the migration.

  • Once migration has completed, you can use an updated verification flow to confirm your domain is ready.

Migrate button to start background domain migration

You can now start domain migration with a dedicated Migrate Domain button:

  • When you click Migrate Domain, Kaseya Quote Manager updates the domain’s status to show that migration is in progress.

  • Behind the scenes, the system switches your tenant to the default domain, clears relevant caches, and enqueues a background job to handle the actual migration work.

  • You see confirmation that migration has started without needing to wait for all Azure operations to complete.

Background job to remove domains from Front Door Classic

Migration clean-up is now handled in a single background job:

  • The job removes the domain from the Azure Front Door Classic instance.

  • The tenant’s migration status and DNS instruction fields are updated as the process progresses.

  • “Already removed” states are treated as successful to keep the operation idempotent.

  • If anything goes wrong, error details are stored and the job can be retried.

“Validate” button to complete migration and switch to premium domain

Once your domain has been removed from Front Door Classic and DNS records are ready, you can complete migration with a Validate button:

  • Validation reuses the existing domain connection logic to check your TXT and CNAME records.

  • If everything is ready, Kaseya Quote Manager switches your tenant’s primary domain to the Premium custom domain, marks migration as complete, clears caches, and sends you back to the custom domain.

  • If validation is still pending, the UI reflects the current DNS/provisioning state so you know what’s left to do.

Refer to Migration of Azure Front Door Classic instances for more information.

Work with your own email domains more easily

Add and verify custom email domains

You can now add your own custom email domains directly in Kaseya Quote Manager and verify that they are correctly configured for sending email.

  • Add a custom email domain from Settings > Domains, then follow the guided steps to connect it.

  • Kaseya Quote Manager automatically creates and verifies the domain in the underlying email service and stores the verification details for future checks.

  • Once verified, your custom domain can be used for quote and notification emails, helping improve deliverability and brand consistency.

See SPF, DKIM, and DMARC status at a glance

The Email Domains page now shows the verification status of key DNS records in a single view:

  • For each domain, you can see the status of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records in a table.

  • Status is shown using clear visual indicators (icons and color coding), making it easier to identify domains that require attention.

  • When all records are verified, the “Verify” option is hidden, reducing noise and helping you focus on domains that still need configuration.

View last verification time for domain records

When viewing domain verification details, Kaseya Quote Manager now displays the last time your domain’s DMARC, DKIM, and return-path (SPF) records were successfully verified. This helps you confirm that your DNS configuration is up to date and when it was last checked.

Refer to Connecting domains for more information.
